Occasions Press

Privacy Policy

Privacy, plainly printed.

This policy explains how Occasions Press handles data when you create, edit and export personalized newspaper front pages.

In short: drafts are stored locally on your device; text details may be sent to our Cloudflare Worker and Kimi/Moonshot for generation; photos are used in the app for layout and export; we do not sell personal data.

1. Who we are

Occasions Press is an app for creating personalized, AI-assisted newspaper front pages. For privacy questions, contact support@occasionspress.app.

2. Information you provide

The app may ask you to enter recipient details such as name, nickname, date, city, occasion, tone, traits, memories, notes and related story details. You may also choose photos from your device for the newspaper layout.

3. Local storage on your device

The current app saves draft and completed newspaper projects locally on your device using Capacitor Preferences. There is no user account system and no cloud archive in the current version. If you delete a project in the app, it is removed from local app storage.

4. AI text generation

To generate the newspaper text, the app sends a prompt containing the text details you provided to our Cloudflare Worker. The Worker calls Kimi/Moonshot on the server side. The Moonshot API key is stored only as a Worker secret and is never shipped in the Android app.

Generated text can include headlines, personal stories, fake ads, historical facts, mini-articles, songs, films and horoscope copy. You should review and edit the generated newspaper before sharing or exporting it.

5. Photos

Photos selected in the app are used to preview, crop, place and export your newspaper. The current text-generation flow does not send photos to an AI image generator. Photos may remain in local app storage as part of a saved local project until you delete that project or uninstall the app.

6. Worker logs and security

Our Worker uses a server-side API key, shared-secret request protection, rate limiting and prompt length limits. Worker logs are intended to contain operational metadata such as timing, token usage, prompt length, response length and parse status. We do not intentionally log raw prompts, uploaded photos or generated newspaper text.

7. Sharing and service providers

We use Cloudflare to host the Worker that receives generation requests. We use Kimi/Moonshot to generate text. These providers process the information needed to provide the generation feature. We do not sell your personal data.

8. Cookies, analytics and payments

The current app does not have accounts, subscriptions, shipping, or a cloud archive. Final newspaper exports are priced at €0.99 per completed edition. App payments are expected to be handled by Google Play or the relevant platform payment provider, and we do not receive your full payment card details. This website does not use tracking cookies. If analytics, accounts or hosted editions are added later, this policy will be updated.

9. Your choices

You can edit generated text before sharing it. You can delete local projects in the app. You can also contact us to ask privacy questions or report generated content concerns.

10. AI content reports

If generated content appears offensive, harmful, misleading or otherwise inappropriate, please report it using the instructions on AI Content Reporting.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes should be reflected here before new app versions are submitted to app stores.
